This is the first week of October 2023. Our team including me are working very hard in order to prepare for the WBUAP MRGA 2023. I recently received a confirmation from Nippon Telesoft, a Japanese company who experts in hardware and wide range of Braille Display. Aside from these, some tech companies in Thailand also contacted me about the event and some of them proposed me to run the workshop on the concept of ‘Smart City’ and ‘Connecting Community, Information and life’. I’m pretty sure that all of you will be surprised the first day of WBUAP MRGA 2023 that are what we are attempt to do and wish it’d bring the perfect outcome.
I also contacted the local authorities in Phuket and consulted them the possibility of how to arrange the exhibition at the front of the convention hall of the WBUAP MRGA 2023. They will get back to me very shortly about setting up the Local Foods Festival on 26 November 2023 and also preparing the exhibition hall for Loi Krathong festival. Since the first day of WBUAP MRGA 2023 is 26 November 2023, and there is no meeting (except for the WBUAP committees), we plan to entertain our delegates and observers who are newly come and visit Phuket. We’re pretty sure that our exhibition will attract all who are arriving and enjoy with Thai local foods.
Apart from these, allow me to spread the good news that our MRGA was approved to be supported by Patong Hospital. I’d visited this hospital last month. It’s the public hospital that’s located around 1 KM not so far indeed from Duangjitt Resort & Spa. Our TAB president and the director of the hospital agreed to supply us the professional nurse and ambulance that will standby from 8:30-21:30 hours during the MRGA.
This is a service that TAB as the host of MRGA be aware of; and hope it somewhat make us secure during the MRGA. If someone get sick or feeling not good, he or she can see the professional nurse and she take care him or her and send to the hospital if needed. I have to give a big thank to the hospital that offer us a reasonable rate of acquiring these service; and also I have to thank million times to our TAB president that he supports and see the importance of our health, safety and care during the MRGA.
well begun is half done
